Figtrees on Watson is located only 6 minutes from Maleny in the peaceful Reesville area. The property has two short stay villas – Birdsong and Betharam (and Betharam Plus provides extra bedrooms/space) and is beautifully positioned on a ridge with panoramic views across the Conondale Valley. It is set back and hidden from the road in a tranquil setting with lush established gardens and natural rock features. The Betharam high raked ceilings, glass doors and wide verandas and the uniquely positioned Birdsong villa provide a bright and airy setting to sit back and take in the views and sounds of nature.

We have had a long connection and attraction to the Maleny area having had a property in the Witta area some 30+ years ago. Figtrees on Watson has re-established the Maleny link and it captures everything that draws people to Maleny – country setting, spectacular views, tranquillity, lush gardens, rainforest and rolling green hills. It gives us pleasure to know that many people have and will enjoy the stunning beauty of this property. Beyond just a holiday home, we want Figtrees on Watson to be a place to relax, revive and restore. Betharam (meaning The Hill House) guests have full access and sole use of the Betharam villa. The adjoining villa can only be booked in conjunction with the Betharam villa and we refer to this combination as Betharam Plus (ie, the adjoining villa is vacant for single villa Betharam bookings).

Birdsong is a new architect designed villa located some distance from the Betharam villa. It has been designed with disability access in mind – it has ramp access (no stairs/steps), wider door openings and shower access.

The property is set on 12 acres (not all accessible) and all our guests can enjoy the common-area landscaped gardens, walking paths and lush grassed hills. The layout of the villas and surrounding areas have been thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests have total privacy and a peaceful and tranquil setting is assured throughout your stay.
