About Us

David and Patricia have had a long connection and attraction to the Maleny area having had a property in the Witta area some 30+ years ago – but family, work and business have kept us in Brisbane. We discovered this beautiful property in 2016 and although it needed quite a bit of work we could see the quality and potential. We have made continual improvements to the property over years including the construction of the Baahouse-designed Birdsong villa and caretaker’s house in 2021. Beyond just a get-away property, we want Figtrees on Watson to be a place to relax, revive and restore.
